Chelsea hero Joe Cole has offered Todd Boehly his services to help his old club in any way he can. The former England international believes the Blues need past players to help bridge the gap between different generations at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are coming towards the end of their worst season in recent memory.
They are in a fight to finish in the top half of the Premier League and current interim boss Frank Lampard is the fourth coach to have taken to the dugout.
Lampard was brought back following the sacking of Graham Potter, who lasted less than seven months in the hot seat in west London. He is being assisted by former team-mate and fellow Chelsea legend Ashley Cole. Joe Cole believes a lack of former players being around the Chelsea setup has played a big part in their downturn this season. Petr Cech was the technical and performance advisor up until last summer but left following Boehly's purchase of the club.
