Chelsea's interim Frank Lampard will remain in his position until the end of the season.

Frank Lampard, Chelsea's interim manager, will hold the post till the completion of the current campaign.

The Chelsea board chose to reinstate Lampard for a second stint as Chelsea head coach after Graham Potter's dismissal earlier this month.

The legendary member of the team was hired on an interim basis and given a contract that would last just through the 2022–23 season.

Lampard has been unable to instigate an upturn in fortunes, having lost all five games since returning to the Chelsea dugout. In that period, the Blues were knocked out of the Champions League following a 4-0 aggregate defeat to Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
