According to rumours, Mateo Kovacic may quit Chelsea this summer and join competition Manchester City.

One of the more experienced players in the current Chelsea lineup is Mateo Kovacic, who is 28 years old. In fact, at a few points this season, the Croatian international even wore the captain's hat.

The central midfielder's current contract at Stamford Bridge, however, is set to expire in the summer of 2024.

He may be moving at the end of this campaign, according to recent claims.

According to overseas news outlet N1, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is interested in signing Kovacic from Chelsea.
It's believed that the 28-year-old's representatives recently visited England to meet with Man City.
According to the report, Man City is interested in signing him to replace Kalvin Phillips at the Etihad Stadium, and Chelsea might anticipate selling him for approximately £30 million if he decides to depart this summer.
In February, The Telegraph reported that Man City had begun to pay attention to Kovacic.
